jus to give u guys some updates...

last sat, we had our outdoor cg @ west coast park.. i hope all of us had enjoyed ourselves... its was fun.. had a few videos on hand... wait for me to upload then u all can go my blog and see.. whahaha... didn't really get to take pictures.. next time i will take okie... haha...

last sunday afew of us went for prayer meeting at JW Church.. so long nv been there.. finally got the chance...

yupx... and this week we are having cgm on a friday, partially due to EOGM... yupxx.. it will be at Jon's house @ 730pm... svc as usual... this week is Sermon On The Mount(SOTM).. so if can then try to go down for both svcs... but rmb, this week we are back at Expo Hall 8!! see u there worxx :) Let all come with an expectancy heart to recieve from lixia(for cgm) and Pastor Kong(for SOTM)..

Dear everyone,

Sometimes to share...
just wondering is it very important to get involve in a BGR(Boy Girl Relationship) at a young age? Let's say between the age of 16 to 21. Do you know? Sometimes, we are or can be more to finding love in the wrong places, puting our confidence, trust or hope on someone else whom we do not know... will the person one day let us down.

Bible tells us that we should not put our full 100% love and confidence in people/an individual but in God. Yes, because none of us perfect. It is like placing our love in the wrong places. May it be on a material thing, on a person or things we enjoy so much that God is no longer our first love. Still remember your personally encounter with God? The moments you felt touch by the presence of God and wept in His presence.

Let's come back to the BGR thing... at the end of the day, if it work out well... Praise the Lord.
If not... it will only cause hurt. I hope none be looking for a BGR in a young age because of companionship.

Something to pounder... is the relationship able to last till married?
Let me give you an example: Let say you are 1? years old this year... how long do you want your courtship to be? Dating for 4 years then get married? By then... you are only say 22 years old. Are you able to settle down if you don't even have a stable career or the finances? Would you like to be married and tight down at a young age? Nothing wrong if you want to settle down early, please don't get me wrong but please find the right person, both at a maturity and at the right time.

There are things we must think wisely. The decision we made today determine our tomorrow. Worth the waiting for the right person and the Holy Spirit will prompt us if it is the right person. When a relationship is bless by God, by church Pastors and Leaders... how wonderful it will be. Holding your own wedding in the church with full blessings from your Pastors, Leaders and your fellow friends.

Make full use of your youth and be a history maker! To love and to serve God with all of your heart while you are young and full of energy. Just like King David, Daniel, Samuel etc in the Bible... these people achieved great things for God and impact their world in their youth. People will let us down but God will not. God says... "...His words will never pass away." Please seek love in the right way and from the right source. Do not do anything that will hurt yourself cos you are precious in His sight. God's "Agape" love... his unconditional love be there for you and me. Nothing is too hard for God!

i can't sleep.

so here i am.

recently, i've met a guy who i tink is cute. i'm not like madly in love with him but u know, i felt lonely and he so happened to be there for me and so we went out for awhile.

he says he loves me.

i believe;

for awhile.

it's funny how when i was a little girl i dreamt of perfect love. i kept fantasizing how my love will be when i grow up.

now that i am kinda grown up, i am quite disappointed. lol.

it's weird really. how when u have it and u kinda wish that u don't.

one thing i know for sure is that when a guy says he loves u; he really means it, at that moment. but we hafta accept that things change, ppl change. it's inevitable.

and at the end of the day, it dawns on me that there's One whose love for me will never change.

it's kinda funny when u keep looking around for love when God's so near, quietly knocking at your door and you don't even have a min for Him because you're too busy crying over some jerks out there.

as a child, God gave me a promise. He said He'll never forsake me.

I thanks Him for that.

I guess it's the reason why i've never manage to stray too far away from Him.

So happy that new year has come. Let's say goodbye to 2006 and let's welcome 2007 with open arms!

Know that many of you had your countdown at our beloved Jon's place. Thank you Jon for opening your house to us. I did my counting down away from home this year. It was at Genting Highland...*so cold lor* but it was exciting. Live with fire works! Btw, i went for a short holiday to KL with church friends. Did much shopping as well.

Wishing all beloved W386 friends a happy and prosperous new year. For the students, you be super smart for your studies and shine bright bright for the Lord. For the working people, we be earning big money big money, many promotions and shine for the Lord in our marketplace.

hi everyone..
Christmas is really drawing very very near... next week is Christmas oready.. so lets take tis as a good opportunity to go out and win the LOST.. last sat during cgm we learnt how we can share our personal testimony.. lets go out into the Market Place and testify God and bring in souls... many might ask "LOST?" ya "LOST"=are souls out there whom are still wondering around and are yet to come to know Christ Our Lord and Saviour! this yr 5 services.. Great!! and heard that this time round cg pledge abt 50++ friends... so its so great... lets not be hold back by any thought that are negative in our minds.. just like wad Pastor Tan preached in service last week, he said "if your are age 24years and under, God can use u mightly!" so lets believe as a cg ya.. Amen!

and next friday we'll also be having our thanksgiving cg-cum-Christmas Party@Lixia's hse so lets come prepared for a great time ya.. and ya... can bring friends along too...

EDITOR'S INTRODUCTION: The Bible tells us that no man can serve two masters (see Luke 16:13). Yet most of us try very hard to do this. Sometimes the master that competes with God's lordship in our lives is money; other times it is a job or an addiction.

More often it is people. We tend to devote ourselves to pleasing them in order to gain their favor or approval. It's not always a conscious effort; it's a natural response of our "old man" to unhealed wounds and to the demands that our spouses, children, bosses and unnamed significant others place upon us.
In order to avoid this trap, we have to learn, as Kathryn Kuhlman (1907-1976)-one of America's best-known female evangelists--did, that there is only One whom we are to seek to please. Whether we are special to others doesn't matter; what matters is that we are special to God.- M.D.E.

My papa never went to church. He hated preachers. If he saw the preacher coming down the street and the preacher didn't see him, he would duck out of sight. The preacher would never see him.

Papa went to church only at Christmas time when his girl would give a recitation or on children's day when she sang a song. They always said that Kathryn was the apple of her papa's eye. And I knew it.

Yes, Kathryn-that mean little girl with the freckled face and red hair--was the apple of her papa's eye. I knew it, and it was my security.

Every time I stood up to give a recitation I saw only one person in that little church, and that was Papa. I did my best for Papa. I was the apple of his eye.
Over the years, I had one verse of Scripture that I would weep over. I held it close to me. It's been the motivating force of my life. "Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings" (Ps. 17:8, NKJV).

A million times I held this precious Word in my heart. I knew the security there was in being the apple of HIS eye.

You know, my papa never laid a hand on me-never. All Papa had to do was look at me in a certain way. That's all. If I disappointed him, he'd just look at me in a certain way, that's all. And I just loved him so much. I was the apple of his eye, and I wasn't going to let him down.

I would say to Jesus, "I live for only one thing. Just one thing. That's all. I desire one thing above everything else in the world: to be the apple of Your eye. I want Your smile. I want Your favor. I want Your love. Nobody in the world knows how weary I get in body. But it's all worth it to be the apple of Your eye."
No matter what we have done, He loves us. We are unique and special in His sight. As sons and daughters, we can call God "Abba, Father," which means "Papa." We are always the apple of His eye.

Let's thank Him today that this is so-and purpose in our hearts to seek to please Him alone.

I GOT IN TO 2 EXPRESSS!!!!!I never drop to NA^^.Really thank God for that.I was worried that i was going to drop to NA.At first,my teacher told me yesterday that i failed overall engilsh by a few marks.At that time,i was worried.Then i went to pray with my friends.When the results came out today,everyone went to express!!!!Our prayer came true.we were all so happy.I was curious why i could get in to express when i failed english.She said that the princepal allow those who failed english by a few marks to go to express.But she wants to see my parent.Hope my mum is not going^^.

I sincerely ask for a prayer request from all of you.. most of you should have know that my dearest uncle was admitted into hospital a few days ago.. everyone in the family is sickly worried.. and im totally and badly affected.. i hope all of u will keep me my family and my uncle in your prayers ya... just wanna say thanks to all of u..

of course at the same time pray for the church, pray for Pastor Ming's Brother as well... its really Spiritual Warfare i can say..

but most importantly, have the Faith of God.. lifting everything up into his loving hands.. believing tat He will do a miracle in such a situation...

weeks have passed.. and we had oreadi gone through 4 lessons on "Making Marriage Work".. i hope all of u are blessed by this series so far taught by Pst Kong ya.. i noe mani of u r single right here in this place, bt its alright ya.. Thank God that Pastor Kong actually taught us on this topic so that we can learn how to manage our marriage in future ya.. so, stay tuned in for the nxt 4 weeks of lessons ya.. and remember tat we'll be getting our workbooks on the weekend of 26-27 July:)

And do rmb tat this weekends svc will be back in Singapore Expo Hall 8 @ 10am, so do not go to SIS ya.. If nt u gonna lead praise and worship and do preaching of the word all by yourself ya..

Praise The Lord!
Rememner last Sat we had our outreach.. it was so wonderful.. lets thank God for everything that He has created for us ya.. One of our Dota-Lan Gaming team came in the 3rd place-lead by Xinyi's friends.. and of course not forgetting our arcade side.. Our team came in 1st-the GRAND CHAMPION!, lead by team leader Yuping ya.. Praise The Lord..

And of a total of 17 friends who had joined us last week.. Praise God! Lets not limit God for wad He can do for W386 ya.. lets all keep the fire burning in the cell group for greater revivial ya! Hallelujah! Stay in tuned.. :D
